How to add a customer on the Dashboard

There are two ways a customer is added to the Dashboard.

  1. When a new customer makes a payment to you via Payment Links or POS Terminals, they are automatically added to the Customers page of your dashboard as a new customer.
  • Usually, the details collected when customers make payment on your page are the full name, phone number and email address and you can view it all on the Customers page

  1. You can add a new customer manually on the Customers page.
  • Go to the Customers page
  • Click on Add a customer
  • Provide the required fields (full name, email address, and phone number). All fields are required.
  • Click on Add customer, and you're done.

How to manage your customers

After creating your customers, you can still do a few things on the Customers page.

  1. You can search for a customer by their name or email.
  2. You can filter and export the table with the date range they were added.
  3. You can view more details for a customer. You can see an overview of the customer profile, a list of all their transactions, and a list of all the accounts associated with that customer.
  4. You can edit a customer detail, create a new account for the customer, or archive/unarchive the customer.

Important to Note:

You cannot create an account for an archived customer. Only active customers can have an account created for them.
