Bills payment lets you buy electricity, airtime/data and television subscriptions on Bloc with cashback on each successful transaction.
We currently support 9 out of 11 DisCos, all major telecom providers, Startimes, GOTV & DSTV.
List of Discos supported for Electricity Bills
Your meter is connected to an electricity distribution company (DisCo) in Nigeria to pay your electricity bills. Your disco operator is usually the company where you get your meter and purchase electricty units from.
For instance, to buy electricity units in Ibadan, you must purchase a meter and recharge it from IBEDC. This means IBEDC is your electricity operator.
There are 11 Electricity Distribution companies, and we support electricity bill payments for 9 out of 11 of them.
Below is a list of discos/operators supported on Bloc and their franchise areas:
- EKEDC- Eko disco. Covers Southern Lagos State (Ojo, Festac, Ijora, Mushin (also covers Orile areas), Apapa, Lekki (also covers Ibeju areas), Lagos Island (also covers Ajele areas) & part of Ogun State (Agbara)
- JEDC- Jos disco. Covers Bauchi, Benue, Gombe Plateau
- KEDC- Kano disco. Covers Kano, Katsina, Jigawa states
- PHEDC- Port Harcourt disco. Covers Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Rivers states
- AEDC- Abuja disco. Covers FCT, Kogi, Nasarawa & most parts of Niger states
- KAEDCO- Kaduna disco. Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara states
- EEDC- Enugu disco. Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Imo states
- IKEDC-Ikeja disco. Covers parts of Lagos State (Abule Egba, Akowonjo, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Oshodi, Shomolu)
- IBEDC-Ibadan disco. Covers Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Kwara and parts of Niger, Ekiti and Kogi states.
We currently do not offer Yola Disco and Benin Disco.
