How to pay your Bills on Bloc (Airtime, cable TV, & Electricity)

Bills payment on Bloc allows you to buy airtime/data, pay your telecommunication bills for DSTV, GOTV, and StarTimes and buy electricity tokens for your prepaid or postpaid meters at your convenience.

Here is a list of bill payment products you can buy on the Bloc Dashboard.

Steps to pay your Bill on the Bloc Dashboard

How to Buy Electricity Bills

You can buy electricity bills from 9 out of 11 discos on the Bloc Dashboard. Check here for a list of the electricity discos we support on Bloc.

To buy electricity on your dashboard,

1. Navigate to the bills payment tab of your Bloc dashboard (image above) and click Buy electricity bills.
2. Choose your electricity operator based on your state of residence from the dropdown. If you are unsure, please read this article to confirm which disco is your operator.
3. Next, choose whether your meter is prepaid or postpaid
4. On the product dropdown, choose the bill payment product provided
5. Enter your unique meter number and click on Make payment.

Things to Note

1. Ensure you choose your meter type (prepaid or postpaid) correctly. If not, your electricity bill payment will not be successful.
2. Ensure you enter the correct meter number to make your bill payment successful. Please visit your operator if you don't know your electricity meter number.

How to Buy Airtime/Data

1. Click on Buy Airtime & Data on the Bills Payment tab.
2. Choose your operator (MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9Mobile).
3. Next, choose whether you want to make an airtime or data purchase.
4. In the next option, enter your phone number and the amount you're recharging.
5. Proceed to make payment.

How to Buy Cable TV Subscription

1. Click on Buy Cable TV subscription on the bills payment dashboard
2. Choose from the cable TV options available (DSTV, GOTV, Startimes)
3. Enter your card number and click on Make payment.

Please ensure you correctly enter your card number so your payment is successful.

Within 1 - 3 minutes, your bill payment will be delivered, and you can view the transaction details from your bills payment dashboard on Bloc. Your cashback will also be deposited into your main account within 24 hours.
