How to Fund your Account

To make transactions with your business bank account, you need to fund your account with money. You can fund/top-up your main account or any sub-accounts you have created.

There are 2 main ways to fund your accounts:

  1. Fund your main account
  2. Fund a sub-account

Fund Your Main Account Balance

The Main Account Balance is the primary place where all deposits and withdrawals of your business happen. To send money or use other features of your Dashboard, your Main Balance should always be adequately funded so that the transaction is successful.

If your Main Balance is not funded, all transfers, etc will start to fail because there are no funds to process the requests.

  1. Go to the Home page. You should be able to see your current balance and a list of recent transactions on your account.
  2. Navigate to Top Up Balance and copy the bank account number.
  3. Transfer money to the account number from wherever you are sending the money.
  4. If successful, your balance will be updated within minutes.

Fund a Sub-account

Sub-accounts allow you to own bank accounts for every part of your business. This way, you can get sub-accounts for different business departments and spending purposes. You can fund your sub-account from your main balance or from any other bank of your choice.
